Housekeeping Supervisor

Coordinate housekeeping functions in assigned sections, inspect guest rooms for standards, and provide necessary training to room attendants. Supervise all staff in laundry and housekeeping, ensuring daily assignments are completed and carts are restocked with linen only. Oversee the closing of floors, maintain key control, and monitor cleanliness of carts, closets, stairways, and landings. Initiate and follow through on work orders for repairs to doors, plumbing, HVAC, and furniture. Report availability of VIP rooms to the Front Office and track progress of out-of-order rooms to the Guest Services Manager daily. Submit documentation regarding performance issues, misconduct, and absenteeism while ensuring associates remain attentive and courteous to guests. Carry active communication devices to maintain contact with Front Office and Engineering throughout the shift.
