Housekeeping Supervisor

Administer and coordinate housekeeping functions in assigned sections, inspecting guest rooms to ensure they meet standards and assisting room attendants as needed. Supervise all staff in laundry and housekeeping, holding them accountable for performance while overseeing daily duty assignments and monitoring cleanliness of carts, linen closets, and stairways. In the absence of the Housekeeping Manager, assume all manager functions including inspecting VIP rooms and reporting availability to the Front Office. Initiate work orders for repairs and follow through until completion, while submitting documentation for performance issues and misconduct. Maintain key control systems and ensure associates remain attentive and courteous to guests. Collect keys and assignment sheets daily, attend required meetings, and monitor VIP special requests. Report progress on out-of-order rooms to the Guest Services Manager and ensure biannual maintenance projects are completed.
