Job Summary
Coordinate housekeeping functions in assigned sections, inspect guest rooms for standards, and provide necessary training to room attendants. Assume all Housekeeping Manager functions in absence, oversee daily floor closing, and maintain key control systems. Inspect staff performance, monitor cleanliness of carts and closets, and ensure proper assignment distribution. Initiate maintenance work orders for repairs and report on out-of-order rooms daily. Submit documentation regarding performance issues, handle lost and found items, and monitor VIP guest requests. Collect keys and assignment sheets at shift end, attend required meetings, and ensure associates remain attentive and courteous. Maintain high grooming standards and comply with Aimbridge Hospitality policies while carrying active communication devices throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Must be able to maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
- Must be able to comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations
- Must be able to carry an active pager/radio to maintain contact with the Front Office and/or Engineering throughout the shift period
Desired Qualifications
- College course work in related field
- Previous supervisory responsibility
