Job Summary
Supervise and support Room Attendants daily while liaising with hotel departments on queries and requests. Assist and supervise room co-coordination duties as needed, conduct on-the-job training to ensure rooms are cleaned to the highest standards efficiently. Manage performance of employees by adhering to policies and processes, inspect and release rooms ensuring defects are reported, and attend to guest queries and complaints by liaising with the Executive Housekeeper when required. Work a variety of shifts including weekends across a 7-day roster with early mornings and late nights.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a busy 4-5 star hotel environment
- Passion for providing unparalleled levels of service
- The right to work in New Zealand
- Fluent in English
- Exceptional grooming
- Articulate in communication
- Outgoing personality
- Genuine passion for Hospitality and customer service
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts which includes weekends across a 7 day/ week roster including early mornings and late nights
- Desire to progress in hospitality
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time
- Approachable team player
- Ability to think outside of the box
