Job Summary
Oversee daily Housekeeping operations at Fairmont Jakarta, supervising Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants, and housekeeping staff to uphold luxury standards and guest satisfaction. Conduct room and area inspections to ensure compliance with brand standards, manage productivity and room turnaround times, and train/motivate team members to deliver exceptional service. Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, oversee supply and inventory control of housekeeping materials, and support the Housekeeping Manager in achieving departmental goals and quality audits. Required: Diploma or Bachelor's in Hospitality Management or related field; 2–3 years in luxury hotel housekeeping with at least 1 year in a supervisory role; strong leadership and English communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems; knowledge of safety and hygiene regulations; ability to work flexible shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Housekeeping within a luxury hotel environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and luxury hospitality standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and hotel property management systems
- Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and deliver service recovery when necessary
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
