Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality standards. Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service while conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities. Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, create and manage staff schedules, and handle guest complaints and feedback professionally. Collaborate with other departments to address guest needs and resolve issues promptly. Implement and maintain health and safety protocols, ensure compliance with local regulations, and participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff. Maintain accurate records and stay updated on industry trends to continually improve processes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Superior attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making
- Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of housekeeping management software
- Familiarity with inventory management and supply ordering processes
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
