Clean assigned resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily by dusting, dry mopping, wet mopping, sanitizing, and scrubbing while respecting resident privacy and knocking before entry. Wax floors, clean walls, ceilings, windows, and mirrors per department schedules, and secure all cleaning supplies out of resident reach. Dispose of trash, including biohazardous waste, and post safety hazard signs when necessary. Use personal protective equipment when handling blood or hazardous fluids and comply with chemical safety instructions. Monitor and report rodents, pests, injuries, and fire hazards to the supervisor. Communicate with the Maintenance Director regarding state inspection preparations and participate in in-service education, drills, and emergency procedures.
