Job Summary
Housekeeping and laundry assistant responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe facility; cleaning rooms, common areas, dining room and offices; sweeping and mopping floors; washing, folding and putting away linens and personal items for residents. Compensation and benefits package includes PTO, holiday pay, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, ongoing training, advancement opportunities, and more. Employment is offered as part-time and full-time positions on the housekeeping team at Gainesville Health Care Center in Gainesville, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital or other institutional setting (preferred)
- Desire to work with the elderly and provide exceptional customer service
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and efficiently
- Reliable transportation
