Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors while sanitizing surfaces, windows, mirrors, and glass. Ensure restrooms, staff kitchens, and dining spaces are clean, stocked, and ready for use. Dust, wipe, and polish surfaces throughout the facility, collect and dispose of trash, and maintain organized janitorial closets. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, maintain cleaning logs, and report safety concerns or maintenance needs. Follow all health and safety procedures and work nights, weekends, and weekday evenings from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. or 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and thorough
- Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of the building community
- Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
- Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times
- Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
- Must be available for nights and weekends
- Week day hours 4p-9p
- Weekends, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Occasional event support in the evenings
