Job Summary
Clean building floors, common areas, bathrooms, and rooms using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming. Stock restrooms, storage areas, and maintenance supplies with cleaning equipment. Use the property management system to identify and prioritize cleaning tasks, assist with room turnovers, and maintain a cleaning log to track completed areas and inspections. Report unsafe conditions or required repairs to supervisors while modeling the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions. Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area. Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership and abide by policies outlined in the staff handbook. Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record. Work involves standing, walking, and hiking up to 8 hours daily with the ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18+
- General computer knowledge
- Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
- Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines
