Job Summary
Clean assigned guest rooms by priority according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash. Replace all linen and replenish bathroom supplies and amenities while using correct chemicals per OSHA regulations. Transport cleaning carts securely and perform rotation duties as required. Communicate professionally with guests to handle requests and complaints, ensuring room confidentiality and reporting maintenance deficiencies or safety hazards to the supervisor. Adhere to Maverick Gaming policies, fire procedures, and lost-and-found protocols. Must be able to work standing for up to eight hours, grasp, bend, and lift loads up to 100 lbs. Requires high school education, hospitality experience, and knowledge of chemical handling.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Exceptional guest service skills
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling
- Detail oriented and self-motivated to complete all tasks with little or no supervision
- Must be punctual and have regular and reliable attendance
- Ability to communicate effectively at all times, with all levels of employees and guests
- Ability to follow all of Maverick Gaming standards policies and procedures
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 100 lbs
- Previous Housekeeping experience
