Job Summary
Obtain a list of vacant rooms, prepare a housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, and clean all rooms by emptying trash, making beds, dusting furniture, washing windows, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor patios. Remove room service dishes, replenish bathroom amenities and supplies, and report any broken or repair-needed items. Provide courteous guest service and interact professionally with guests and fellow employees while incorporating safe work practices. Maintain flexibility to take on new tasks as directed by the Department Manager and attend staff meetings. Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to stand and walk on their feet for 95% of the shift
- Able to reach, bend, twist, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks as required
- Must be able to climb stairs with vacuum cleaner
- Regularly lifts 25 pounds and occasionally lifts 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Possess good verbal, written, and listening skills
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Able to write simple correspondence
- Self-directed, energetic, and efficient
