Job Summary
The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas in a hotel facility, performing tasks such as making beds, replenishing supplies, dusting, vacuuming, and transporting linens. Candidates should be able to work independently, follow verbal instructions, and effectively manage time. The role requires good communication and teamwork skills, along with the physical abilities to handle cleaning equipment and maintain cleanliness across various hotel areas. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Ability to pull and push work-related equipment such as a loaded housekeeping cart over uneven and sloping surfaces
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time
- Ability to manipulate, turn, and grasp objects of different sizes and weights
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
