Job Summary
Maintain hotel rooms and building to ensure a safe, clean experience for guests and staff. Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms, changing bed linens (lifting up to 50 lbs), dusting furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, replenishing amenities and supplies, signing for room keys and restocking heavy carts, and ensuring room cleanliness. Requires ability to physically perform tasks with lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, reaching overhead, and working as a team; experience with cleaning agents and equipment; strong communication skills; and a flexible approach to duties as assigned. Compensation includes a hourly wage of $23.73 (annualized to $49,358 with standard full-time work hours). Benefits and vacation programs are described in detail by location. Required Qualifications
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces
- Extend arms overhead to perform cleaning tasks
- Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers
- Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment
- Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences
