Enter status of rooms cleaned and complete checklists to report cleanliness and condition of each assigned area. Inspect guest rooms after being cleaned by Housekeepers and respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify room assignments and type of cleaning required, then enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees while serving as a role model. Follow all company and safety policies, report maintenance problems or hazards, and ensure uniform and personal appearance remain clean and professional. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and identify ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, and cost-savings. Move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 55 pounds, push and pull loaded carts over sloping surfaces, and enter work-related information using computers.
