Job Summary
Environmental Services Technician responsible for cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure infection-control standards and regulatory requirements are met. The role supports a healthy, hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being; duties include following written and verbal instructions, performing manual tasks, interacting with the public, and meeting physical requirements (lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for shifts). Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience: Prior Hospital Environmental service experience (preferred)
- Experience: Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions (preferred)
- Experience: Previous experience with performing manual tasks (preferred)
- Experience: Prior experience working with the public; customer service (preferred)
- Physical Requirements: push, pull, lift 50 pounds regularly
- Physical Requirements: prolonged standing and walking
