Job Summary
The Housekeeping Porter supports the housekeeping department by transporting linen and supplies, maintaining equipment, and assisting with room setups and turnovers to ensure the hotel maintains high standards of hygiene and guest comfort. Responsibilities include delivering/collecting linen and amenities, maintaining cleaning carts and equipment, assisting with room preparations for special requests or events, ensuring public areas and staff spaces are clean, vacuuming and mopping floors, reporting maintenance issues promptly, providing courteous service to guests, following health and safety guidelines, handling cleaning chemicals safely, and participating in training to stay aligned with hotel standards. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Eligibility requires authorisation to live and work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Compassionate guest service and teamwork are essential, with flexibility to work shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
