Job Summary
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and treatment areas; sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces according to facility standards; properly handle and dispose of waste, including biohazard materials, following safety protocols; refill supplies such as soap and cleaning materials; follow infection control, safety, and OSHA guidelines; report maintenance issues or hazards to supervisors; respect resident privacy and confidentiality; work cooperatively with nursing and facility staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, nursing home, or rehabilitation setting is a plus
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- HIPAA compliance
