Job Summary
Complete all required job-specific training and properly clean and disinfect hospital patient rooms, laboratories, offices, and hallways following established procedures for germicidal usage, isolation rooms, and specific surface types. Execute high and low dusting, dry and wet mopping, vacuuming, and bathroom cleaning protocols including showers, tubs, and commodes. Maintain storage areas and housekeeping carts while adhering to waste handling and disposal procedures. Demonstrate proper CARES behaviors and customer service skills throughout the shift. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work in an environment with moderate noise and exposure to airborne contaminants.
