Job Summary
Housekeeping Manager oversees the housekeeping program across interior public areas, guest rooms, F&B service areas, spa/fitness, and related spaces, ensuring clean, orderly environments and alignment with Forbes standards. Responsible for supervising staff with Executive Housekeeping/Operations collaboration, driving guest and employee satisfaction, and financial performance. Key duties include scheduling, establishing standards, monitoring productivity and guest satisfaction, managing purchasing and vendor processes (Birchstreet), inspecting facilities, supporting budget development, cost control, and ensuring adherence to policies. Opportunity to grow into the Departmental Leader role (Executive Housekeeper or Rooms Division Manager). Requires experience in luxury hotel operations, strong leadership, and proficiency with reporting, budgeting, and staff development.
Required Qualifications
- AA or Bachelor’s degree; 3-5 years progressive housekeeping/front office management experience in luxury hotel or related field; P&L understanding preferred; ability to develop operating and control processes; strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays; inventory and labor cost control skills; proficiency with property management systems (e.g., Birchstreet, SMS, HotSOS) and Microsoft Office
