Job Summary
Communicate with housekeeping staff on rooms to be cleaned and special requests, inspect guestrooms and public areas to ensure they meet standards of cleanliness, and report all unsafe conditions. Report room status to Front Desk, follow up on guest complaints regarding services, and inspect guestrooms for maintenance or repairs. Assist in training, coaching, and development of team members, prepare and inspect VIP rooms, and attend all mandatory meetings. Requires six months of prior housekeeping management experience, fluent English (Spanish helpful), and scheduling expertise. This role is part of Davidson Hospitality Group's reimagined Westin at Frenchman's Reef in St. Thomas, offering a unique entrepreneurial management style.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
- Six months prior housekeeping management experience
- Read, write and speak English fluently
- Experience in scheduling needs
- Experience in efficient and timely cleaning of rooms
- No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others
- Pre-employment drug test
- Background check
