Job Summary
Lead daily operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and consistently meet quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and laundry operations, while coaching, mentoring, and developing team members through ongoing training and performance feedback. Manage staff scheduling, labor administration, and inventory resources, providing coverage for the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Laundry Supervisor as needed. Partner with other departments to address guest concerns promptly and identify opportunities to improve service workflows. Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and previous housekeeping leadership experience. Located at Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge in Alaska.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Previous housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel, lodge, resort, or hospitality environment
- Proven ability to inspire, develop, and motivate teams in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining high standards
- Positive, professional attitude with a hands-on leadership approach
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexible, dependable, and adaptable to changing operational needs
- Ability to bend, lift, climb stairs, and safely lift up to 35 pounds
