Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary
Oversee a team of housekeepers to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms at Edgewater Inn; assign duties, inspect work, screen applicants, train new employees, and manage front desk coverage when needed. Lead staffing decisions, set performance standards, monitor performance, motivate and develop staff, and ensure adherence to housekeeping standards and inventory control. Schedule shifts, handle off-season staffing, address guest needs, investigate complaints, and maintain confidentiality of guest information while delivering high levels of service and teamwork; requires flexibility to work weekends/evenings during peak periods and ability to lift and transport cleaning supplies and linens. Must have high school diploma or GED and 2-3 years housekeeping experience with 1-3 years supervising staff.
