Housekeeping Manager

Oversee housekeeping and laundry operations in a hotel environment, ensuring cleanliness of rooms and public areas while delivering guest-focused service. Manage budgeting and cost control, direct work assignments of supervisory and non-supervisory staff, and monitor staffing to meet guest and VIP expectations. Coordinate with Engineering, Front Office, and F&B departments; communicate housekeeping needs to other departments; identify training needs and implement training sessions; maintain effective employee relations and ensure health, safety, and security procedures. Conduct routine inspections of guestrooms and public areas to ensure facilities are well maintained and meet guest satisfaction, and oversee disciplinary actions and performance improvements as needed. Act on behalf of the Executive Housekeeper in their absence and supervise external contractors to ensure contractual compliance. Ensure timely, courteous service for guests, VIPs, and repeat visitors, and maintain smooth operations through open communication with the Executive Housekeeper.
