Job Summary
Oversee and manage the housekeeping department at Hotel Indigo Lower East Side, ensuring product quality and exceptional guest service. Responsibilities include budgeting and inventory control, hiring and developing housekeeping staff, driving training and performance coaching, coordinating with Front Office and Engineering, maintaining safety and compliance, scheduling and supervising daily housekeeping tasks, and serving as manager on duty as needed. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- management or supervisory experience
- four years’ housekeeping/laundry experience (preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity)
- Must speak fluent English
