Job Summary
Housekeeping Manager leading daily housekeeping operations at a flagship hotel, overseeing room attendants and public area staff, inspecting guest rooms and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and safety, collaborating with Front Office and Engineering, training and developing staff, coaching and providing feedback, managing staff scheduling and labor guidelines, monitoring inventory and expenses, and ensuring adherence to brand standards and health/safety regulations to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of housekeeping supervisory experience
- experience in a high-volume urban hotel environment preferred (New York City)
- strong leadership and people development skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- familiarity with hotel PMS and basic computer skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds
