Job Summary
Establish and implement operational standards for housekeeping, laundry, and room set-up across existing and future buildings. Conduct thorough inspections of resident apartments and common spaces to ensure services meet established quality measures. Manage a team of 15-20 staff through recruiting, training, performance evaluations, and daily floor supervision for deep cleaning and specialized projects. Forecast staffing needs and adjust schedules for routine operations, special events, and emergencies. Oversee supply distribution, equipment maintenance, and vendor contracts while preparing and managing operating budgets. Respond to resident communications regarding service concerns and participate in quality assurance committees. Work nights, weekends, and holidays with active mobility across multiple floors.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of related work experience
- 3 years supervisory experience
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- AA, BA or BS degree
- Ability to use a computer
- Microsoft suite
- Ability to speak and comprehend English
- Must be willing to obtain specialized training in infection control within 90 days of employment, unless training or expertise can be demonstrated
- Less than 10% travel required
