Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department at Raffles Boston, ensuring attentive, friendly, efficient service and a clean, safe environment while managing expenses and maintaining high guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include coaching and disciplining housekeeping staff, conducting trainings (Standard of the Week), maintaining cleaning schedules and inventories, ensuring compliance with corporate standards (MSDS, HazCom), conducting interviews, and maintaining high standards of professional appearance and communication. The role emphasizes guest privacy and safety, timely room turnovers, cross-department coordination, and reporting on labor, scheduling, and housekeeping performance to optimize service quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree; Supervisory experience required; Proficient in Windows, company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
