Job Summary
Lead housekeeping and laundry operations in a long-term care environment: hire, train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping and laundry staff; develop department schedules aligned with census and labor budgets; manage inventory and control expenses; ensure cleanliness through cleaning, disinfection, and sanitation inspections; monitor sanitation and infection-control compliance; provide staff training on safe cleaning and laundry procedures; oversee linen delivery, personal laundry, and organized supply rooms to support daily operations; candidates should have prior housekeeping or laundry experience, strong supervisory skills, clear communication, organizational focus, and knowledge of infection-control practices relevant to elderly/care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Housekeeping or Laundry Services, preferably in a Healthcare Setting
- Supervisory or Leadership Experience
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Understanding of Infection Control and Sanitation Protocols in Long-term Care
