Job Summary
Plan, organize, and direct the overall operation of the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments to ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable manner. Maintain adequate supplies of laundry and linens to meet client needs while adhering to environmental control and laundry equipment procedures. Ensure resident confidentiality and treat residents with kindness, dignity, and respect. This Full-Time role at Robertsdale Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center requires a supervisor with previous supervisory experience, effective communication skills, and a positive attitude toward the elderly.
Required Qualifications
- at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a Supervisory capacity
- communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- speak and understand English
- Training in environmental control and operation of laundry equipment practices and procedures
- positive attitude toward the elderly
- maintain resident confidentiality
- treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect
