Housekeeping - Laundry Executive

Oversee and coordinate laundry and housekeeping operations at Marriott International location in Chennai: manage inventory of uniforms and linens, conduct monthly supplies inventory, and report equipment maintenance and safety hazards. Train and supervise staff in laundry procedures and safety, schedule and evaluate employees, and ensure prompt completion of department laundry requests. Operate and monitor washing, drying, and related machinery; visually inspect linens for damage; uphold quality standards, confidentiality, and professional communication. Develop positive working relationships, drive efficiency and cost-savings, and support management in hiring, coaching, and policy adherence. Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods, move objects up to 25 pounds, and navigate confined or elevated spaces. Licenses/certifications not required.
