Job Summary
Housekeeping/Laundry Director responsible for overseeing and supervising housekeeping and laundry departments in a healthcare facility. Duties include administrative authority to direct department operations, coordinating environmental services with other departments, inspecting storage and janitorial areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, reviewing and updating department policies, participating in surveys and plans of correction, performing required administrative tasks and reports, and serving on facility committees. Requires strong supervisory and organizational skills, ability to manage staff, and adherence to regulatory requirements to maintain compliant, cost-effective operations. Location: Monroeville, PA (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (suggested)
- 1 year of experience in housekeeping or laundry in healthcare setting
