Job Summary
Complete all daily and weekly cleaning schedules, sign necessary paperwork, and follow guidance from the Head Housekeeper to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the home. Undertake general cleaning tasks and laundry duties as delegated, ensuring the working environment remains free from hazards. Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of residents. This 30-hour role operates from 0800-1400 with alternate weekend working at an hourly rate of £12.71. Previous non-domestic cleaning experience in a care setting is beneficial, along with the ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow written instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment in the Home
- Ability to follow simple written and verbal instructions and write basic comments
- Communicate effectively with other team members
- Display reliability and trustworthiness
- Shift times are 0800-1400
- Alternate weekend working
- This position is subject to a DBS check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous non-domestic cleaning and experience of working in a care setting would be beneficial
