Job Summary
Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant provides routine environmental services to residents; responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing all areas, sweeping and mopping, trash removal, and following the daily cleaning schedule. May work in laundry as needed. Shifts vary and the role requires working every other weekend and every other holiday. Must work effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed safely, timely, and with quality resident care. Requires excellent customer service and the ability to lift/push/pull/move up to 50 pounds; prior housekeeping experience, preferably in a nursing home, is required.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Housekeeping experience is required, preferably in a nursing home environment.
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Ability to move intermittently throughout the work day
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
