Job Summary
Clean resident rooms, offices, and common areas by vacuuming, wiping, and polishing to ensure safe, comfortable spaces. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and hang laundry while identifying personal items and returning clean clothes to appropriate rooms. Sanitize bathrooms, dining areas, and windows according to facility policies and chemical hazard guidelines. Move resident furniture and equipment as directed by the supervisor. Adhere to weekly cleaning schedules, all facility policies, and the Code of Conduct under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or sufficient knowledge and education to perform job functions
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions
- Capability to set work priorities and work independently in the absence of supervision
- Must meet health assessment requirements, including two-stage Mantoux skin test
- Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required
- Capability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
