Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and safety in resident rooms, apartments, common areas, and employee work zones by disinfecting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, removing garbage, and cleaning furniture, windows, and bathrooms. Operate floor-cleaning machines, buffers, and wet/dry vacuums while adhering to Material Safety Data Sheets and using personal protective equipment for blood and body fluids. Cross-train to work across skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living areas, and perform periodic tasks like wall washing and drapery cleaning. Address unexpected accidents, spills, and hazardous waste removal. Work cooperatively with all disciplines, maintain a calm attitude with residents and families, and read the resident rights agreement.
