Job Summary
Houseperson at DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend Downtown helps maintain the cleanliness of guest hallways, elevators, stairwells, and public areas; stocks linens, amenities, and guest requests; supports Room Attendants with trash removal and heavy lifting; vacuuming and storage area maintenance; reports maintenance concerns and safety hazards; handles Lost & Found; assists with deep cleaning and other duties to ensure a welcoming guest experience. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk/bend/push/pull for extended periods, and deliver excellent customer service within a fast-paced hotel environment. Emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic in providing warm hospitality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience is a plus but not required.
