Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning of main common areas, offices, and residents' apartments including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. Perform laundry functions and handle spills and accidents as needed. Maintain cleanliness of public restrooms, employee breakrooms, and hard-to-reach areas like baseboards and light fixtures. Empty office trash daily and keep common area furniture free of dust and clutter. Requires one year of prior experience in commercial or institutional housekeeping, with a high school education as a minimum. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions regarding cleaning compounds, and deal tactfully with residents, family members, and the general public.
