Job Summary
Maintain guest area, elevator, and assigned area cleanliness while handling room deliveries and trash/linen removal. Walk sections at shift start and end to note immediate cleaning needs, manage Lost and Found items, and report maintenance issues. Collect room attendant carts, clean public areas and offices, and organize storage closets and stairwells. Deliver clean linen to assigned sections and assist with bedboards or roll-aways as requested. Adhere to service culture, participate in required meetings, and follow two-way radio etiquette. Stand for entire shifts, lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, and comply with all safety rules and hotel policies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required, including nights, weekends or holidays
- Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Must be able to stand during entire shift
- Required to stand, walk, climb stairs; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, and bend (fold, organize, scrub, etc.)
- May have exposure to chemicals
