Job Summary
Perform daily cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas. Replenish guest room supplies, empty wastebaskets, and rearrange furnishings while ensuring rooms are left in uniform, locked arrangements. Fulfill guest requests for linen, amenities, newspapers, and messages, and manage laundry by meeting, unloading, and dispersing items daily. Report damage, hazards, repairs, suspicious activity, and strangers to management, and maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, adhering to hotel emergency procedures and quality assurance guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to traverse from area to area within the operating areas to respond to and assist Team Members
- Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
- Ability to be a TEAM player
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail speed and accuracy
- Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to maneuver a fully loaded cart, weighing up to 50lbs., through hallways and into/out of closets during the entire work day
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
