Job Summary
Housekeeping role in a boutique hotel environment requiring prompt guest-request response, identification/reporting of maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas, and keeping guestrooms and work areas clean and orderly. Responsibilities include cleaning corridors, lobbies, stairways, making beds, restocking supplies and linens, turning mattresses, organizing and restocking carts, maintaining laundry flow, inspecting room appliances, ensuring confidentiality and security of guest rooms, following safety procedures, and responding to guest queries. Requires knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, physical stamina, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
- Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
- Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
- Ability to lift, push and pull required load (Up to 50lbs)
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred however, not required
