Job Summary
Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions in common areas and resident rooms, ensuring appropriate safety signs are set up and all equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored. Keep supervisors informed of supply needs and assist in laundry as directed. Maintain clean work and assignment areas while applying basic math skills to make routine decisions affecting the immediate department. Communicate effectively with co-workers, residents, and family members. This role contributes to Wallick Senior Living's mission of empowering residents to enjoy their golden years through meaningful activities and round-the-clock support within a supportive, employee-owned environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, residents and family members
- Ability to apply basic math skills
- Make routine decisions requiring minimal judgment which typically affect immediate department
- Employment is contingent upon passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen
