Job Summary
Housekeeper (Environmental Services Assistant) at Sanctuary of Holy Cross responsible for cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, dining rooms, and offices; dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing; removing trash and restocking supplies; reporting maintenance concerns and safety hazards; handling cleaning supplies safely; adhering to infection control guidelines and resident confidentiality; assisting with laundry; responsive and courteous to resident and staff requests; shift may include weekends/holidays; varied schedule with full-time and part-time opportunities; organization-wide commitment to dignity and respect in a healthcare/senior living setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience (especially in a healthcare or senior living environment) is a plus
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and respectful attitude toward seniors
