Job Summary
Housekeeper needed to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across residential homes, hotels, and commercial buildings. Responsibilities include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens, changing linens, taking out trash, restocking supplies, cleaning windows and glass surfaces, following established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines, and reporting maintenance needs to the supervisor. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals for different surfaces; work independently or as part of a team; flexible hours including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for different surfaces
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning and floor care procedures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary
