Job Summary
Executive-level housekeeping role overseeing daily housekeeping operations. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool area to ensure adherence to quality standards, run room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning, and update room assignments. Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry; document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk; oversee changes in room assignments and communicate updates to the next shift. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, disciplining, and motivating staff; ensure adherence to safety and security policies; uphold confidentiality and protect company assets. Maintain professional communication with guests, respond to service needs, and support guests with disabilities. Ensure adherence to quality expectations, stand and move as required, and operate with basic computer and point of sale systems. Supervisory responsibilities include guiding staff, supporting positive working relationships, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Related work experience: at least 1 year
- Supervisory experience: at least 1 year
