Housekeeping-Days/Evenings

Cleans assigned resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily by dusting, dry mopping, wet mopping, sanitizing, and scrubbing while respecting resident privacy and knocking before entry. Maintains facility surfaces by cleaning walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and waxed floors per department schedules. Secures housekeeping supplies out of reach of residents, disposes of trash including biohazardous waste according to policies, and posts safety hazard signs when needed. Uses personal protective equipment during exposure risks, complies with chemical safety instructions, and monitors for rodents, pests, fire hazards, and injuries. Reports all safety concerns, pest evidence, and injuries to the supervisor immediately. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience in healthcare Environmental Services is preferred.
