Job Summary
Mix and prepare cleaning products; vacuum, sweep, mop, and wax floors while ensuring a safe environment for patrons by removing liquids and debris from walkways. Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, replenish supplies, and wash windows, mirrors, walls, and countertops. Remove and dispose of debris from parking lots and walkways, empty waste receptacles, and perform additional staff functions for events. Report known or expected irregularities to the immediate supervisor and follow OSHA and in-house safety guidelines. Requires CPR and bloodborne pathogen training and ability to work odd hours, split shifts, or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift/push heavy objects
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Required to successfully complete on-site CPR and bloodborne pathogen training
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- 1-2 years of related work experience cleaning multiple facilities
- Working knowledge of building cleaning practices, methods, supplies, and equipment
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive custodial tasks without immediate supervision
