Job Summary
Housekeeping Coordinator at YMCA Cedar Glen Outdoor Centre focusing on coordinating housekeeping operations, scheduling staffing, assigning daily cleaning tasks via CampBrain, recruiting and developing housekeeping staff, managing payroll, and ensuring health, safety, and sanitation standards to deliver a high-quality guest experience; requires First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, 2+ years of administrative experience, strong computer skills, and flexible availability including weekends; valid driver’s license and vehicle access; location is onsite in Ontario, Canada; part-time hours (~30 per week).
Required Qualifications
- Standard First Aid and CPR certification required
- WHMIS and Workplace Safety Core Training required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative tasks; supervisory experience is preferred
- Solid computer skills, including Outlook, MS Explorer, MS Excel, guest booking systems (hotel or camp), and facility management applications
- Excellent time management and written and oral communication skills
- Interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to balance housekeeping responsibilities with administrative duties
