Job Summary
Housekeeper needed at Wyndham Residence (assisted living). Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and kitchen spaces; safely using and maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment; disposing of waste; restocking toiletries, cleaning products, and linens; reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards; following infection control protocols; assisting with laundry; and supporting a respectful, caring environment for residents and staff. Requires attention to detail, ability to work independently or as part of a team, strong communication, physical stamina, and adherence to health and safety standards. Education: high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be 18+ and available weekends/holidays; background check and health screenings (including TB tests) required. Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping, custodial, or cleaning roles preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a respectful attitude towards residents
- Physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
