Job Summary
Housekeeping Attendant responsible for providing housekeeping services at River Park Gardens Personal Care Home under the direction of the Support Services Manager. Duties include cleaning resident rooms to maintain a home-like environment, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and supporting residents and families while upholding quality of care and safety standards. Strong English verbal/reading skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are required; capable of consistent attendance and adherence to facility checks and safety requirements. This term, in-person role includes day and weekend shifts with 7.75 hours per day, 2015 annual base hours, and mandatory background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Verbal command of the English language and English reading skills required, written skills preferred
- Ability to relate well with co-workers, residents and families
- Good organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates concern and interest in giving the quality of care in cleaning the resident’s rooms to make them feel like it's their home
- Ability to attend work on a consistent basis
- Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Check)
- Child Abuse Registry Check
- Adult Abuse Registry Check
